Teenagers fighting each other during camping trip
A 26 year old man head injured in brutal attacks sustained in the violent assault of a group of young people camping in a West Yorkshire park. Three other men were also injured, the two 17 year olds were seriously hurt, a third man not requiring for hospital treatment. The men were part of a group of Goths camping overnight outside a youth centre. The camping park is located at the Rothwell Country Park in the John O’Gaunt area of the town.
In the early hours of today, the two girls were also robbed at knife point, Police said. The officers says the reported robbery and the assaults on the four men appear to have happened in different times within the park. Two 17 year olds man and another 21 year old man have been arrested and they are in custody.
Police consulting CCTV in the area that they are making a house to house inquiries. In the urban outskirts of the city, the two cameras are mounted on the front door of the community centre.
In this morning, the evidence bags wrapped around large sticks and blood spatters bee seen on paving at the front of the building. Police set up early morning, a large wooden plank with nails was also placed inside a cordon.
At the near of the entrance of the single storey centre, a scene of crime officers have put up a tent is used for a variety of youth and community activities. There are two playing fields and a children’s play park.

Camping fees for the New Facilities in Barrington Tops
On September 1, will introduced the camping fees for overnight visitors, to help with the cost of providing new facilities in Barrington Tops National Park and Towarri National Park.
Robert Quirk, Hunter Region Manager in National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) said, the introduction of camping fees already apply in other areas of national park camping around the state. “The fees, which are the lower end and has a guide of charged where the camping areas statewide, reflect the more remote nature of the parks, the type of facilities provided and their maintenance requirements”.
In last few years, the six visitor areas within Barrington Tops National Park, as well as the Washpools Campground in Towarri National was invested considerable funds by NPWS on improving camping areas and upgrading facilities for visitors expectations.
The camping upgraded includes the existing camping facilities, and also the provision of new facilities of gas barbecues, toilets, campsites, interpretive signs, and walking trails. Those upgrades for the people enjoyment of the area and the recreational activities.
The funds from the camping fees are kept in the area and used to maintain, to manage visitor facilities and services in other National Park regions. The camping fees apply from self registration stations where the camping areas located. Regular patrol by the NPWS stafff to answer the questions from visitors and assist in the use of self registration stations in the coming months.
Camping Facilities in Disney to Improve More
In the last two decades, Walt Disney World is making the largest set of improvements to its Fort Wilderness Campground.
The Central Florida theme park is in the process of adding an extra for recreational vehicles, cable TV and Internet Service, a mini water park, Segway scooter tours, a dog park, and improved electric cart rental operation.
A campground’s general manager, Jean Gallagher says In the 37 year history hasn’t seen many improvements, it’s because of the traditionally rustic nature of camping. But Gallagher says the new upgrades will be the best or better to meet the modern guests expectations.
Camping Site Scouts Exhibit Skills in Uganda
Two people namely Jane Nafula and Zahra Abigaba, they gathered in 43 districts of Uganda at Kaazi National Camping Site in Wakiso District where almost 2,000 scouts spent five days participating in this year’s camporee.
A Camporee is a yearly event (annual) where scouts will gather and carry out various activities for a noble cause. Young Scouts as three and the veteran scouts like the 82 year old Neri Oola from Gulu District. They pitched camp and braved the wild life at Kaazi for the 5 days from August 15 to 20 in various activities that were in line with this year. A theme for this year “Scouting for Peace Building and Development”.
The activities included baking, tree planting, crime prevention, mud mixing, brick making, water safety campaigns, first aid provision and fire fighting among others. All the scouts, Clad with their uniforms it seemed to be enjoying every moment of the jungle life. Some of them went to the some of the fierce forest inhabitants.
Herbert Ninsima from Kabale District of Lubale Secondary School, whose camp was focused on wild life conservation, a snake he pulled out from a bucket with bare hands as he explained the importance of wildlife conservation.
David Bahati, a Chairman of the National Scouts Board in Ndorwa West MP said “Scouting is a practice to make self fulfilled and responsible citizens. It is a non-formal education that builds young people during their formative years”.
