Double the number of Camping Bookings and Reservations

The survey conducted for an insurance co. that has found 30% of people are went to camping holiday under the canvas this year, compared to 17% who went on a camping or caravan holiday in 2008. Nearly double the number of campers in a camping holiday to save money instead spent to expensive holidays.
The research is tracing on how many people suggest that camping holidays its been popular this summer. According to the Camping and Caravanning Club, bookings and reservations at campsites are raise to 27% compared with a year ago.
The most popular destinations for campers are Cornwall, over 15 percent are planning to go, the other destination are the Lake District and Devon.
