Camping reservations have been suspended at Beaver Lake at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers cleans the campgrounds of ice storm debris said by the Corp’s Little Rock District.

Workers wish to finished cleanup by spring park opening schedule for April 1 at Dam Site, Horseshoe Bend, Hickory Creek, Lost Bridge North and Prairie Creek Campgrounds.

According to the new release, repairs have been complicate because ice storm damaged from the 2008 flooding was proceeding it repairs work now.

The reservations will be resumed once the corps staff determines campsites are safe for occupancy.
