Cambridge Ordinance Bans Most Outdoor Camping

The new ordinance was approved by the City Council last week in Cambridge bans camping within city limits. The ordinance prohibits most camping such as a trailer, tent, camper or any other kind of temporary structure.

Temporary overnight camping on private property for religious, social, or commercial purposes may be permitted by the property owner for only 1 week maximum.

The ordinance approved by the City Council and took effect Saturday.
